Why AuraHack

In haemophilia, an aura is the warmth or tingle a person feels just before a bleed shows itself, a word the people we interviewed at the Haemophilia Society of Singapore used themselves. We took it for our team name because it names the exact moment our work begins: before the bleed is visible and before anyone is sure, when a feeling is all there is to go on.

The problem
Adults with moderate to severe haemophilia need to assess, decide and manage unfamiliar acute bleeds confidently, whenever they happen. It started as HSS's brief on bleeds at 2am and changed twice.Read the problem statement files
The bet
Bleedwise: the bleed record, signed by your centre. It writes down what the clinic told you, carries it to the bleed, tracks the bleed to recovery, and shares it with your care team when you choose to. It never diagnoses and it never calculates a dose.Read the solution files
The partner
The Haemophilia Society of Singapore has about 280 patients in Singapore and zero paid staff. The design has to run with no manpower, because there is none to add.Read the WFH files
